Cycling in South Tyrol is one of the most enjoyable ways to explore this part of Italy.

This region is close to the Austrian border and has a certain charm to it, this route takes you through…. impressive Dolomite mountain panorama, national park, apple orchards for miles and vineyards which would transform your journey into a sensuous adventure.

Every day is a highlight on this bike tour in Southern Tyrol.

ITINERARY

Day 1
Individual arrival in Merano

Merano is an Alpine town in Italy’s South Tyrol region. It’s known for its spas and art nouveau buildings.

Day 2
Vinschgau/ Merano
Ride: approx70 km
Train: 70 km

Meranoin South Tyrol offers an excellent ride through its diverse countryside, from the valley to the mountain at a pleasant temperature, and through apple orchards and shady forests.

Day 3
Merano – Bolzano
Ride: approx 45 km

We will be cycling along the Adige river..enjoying the scenic route winding through valley, endless apple orchards, vineyards and mountains.

Day 4
Bolzano – Auer
Ride : approx 30 km

On this day, enroute to Auer, we will be visiting Messner Mountain Museum, in Sigmundskron Castle constructed in 945A.D.,one of the oldest castles in South Tyrol.

Day 5
Auer to Trento
Ride : approx 45 km

Today we ride to Trento…. which is a true landmark of Alpine arts, culture and traditions, admire its beauties while strolling around the city-centre's and alleys.

Day 6
Trento –Torbole/Riva
Ride : approx 45 km

Today’s ride will be through valleys with small ghat like climbs. The first glimpse of Riva del Garda in the valley below is certain to reassure everyone about the worth of this ride.

Day 7
Tour ends

Tour ends after breakfast, you can extend your stay at Riva for a day or two.

• Train journey with the ‘Vinschgaubahn’ to Mals.
• Entry for Messner museum
• Bike rent -for a normal bike.
• City tax at hotels.

• Air ticket and visa charges.
• Lunch and dinner.
• Travel Insurance.
• Transfers from airport to the place we start cycling and to the Airportwhere we end cycling.
• E-bike@ extra cost of approx.Rs.8000/-
• Single occupancy charges will be extra Rs.14800/-
• If anyone wishes to shorten the route then the internal commuting at their own expense.
• One extra day at Riva Del Garda-optional @ RS 5700 on double occupancy basis plus GST-at present 5% ( for those who wish to extend)
• Any other services which have not been mentioned above

• Until 28 days before start:20% of the tour cost
• 27 to 14 days before start: 30% of the tour cost
• 13 to 8 days before start:50% of the tour cost
• 7 to 4 days before start:70% of the tour cost
• 3 days before start and:"No-show"90%
