Kanatal : A beautiful weekend getaway

The calm and unexplored town of Kanatal is located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. You can take a trip to Kanatal if you're looking for a destination that is not infested with tourists and is calm and unexplored. Town of Kanatal lies near Mussoorie, which is a popular tourist hotspot. Tourists mainly flock to Mussoorie, and the town of Kanatal is mostly left untouched.

Kanatal is at an elevation of 8,500 feet above sea level on Mussoorie-Chamba road. There are many places that you can visit during your trip to Kanatal, some of them are :
1. Surkhanda Temple - The most popular religious destination at height of 10000ft
2. Tehri Dam(Water Sports) - This is the Highest dam in India and 8th highest in the world, it not only generate 2400 megawatt of electricity but also generates lots of opportunity for adventure lovers.

Day 0 :9:30 PM Overnight Drive From Noida to Kantal (330 Km)

Assemble at Noida City Center, Noida at 9:30 PM to board the traveler/AC Coach bus for an overnight drive to Kanatal. We shall leave at 10:00 pm sharp. Midnight tea break en route.

Day 1 :Explore adventure activities and Surkanda Devi trek (3 km)

Check-in at camp where warm breakfast would be waiting. Rest for a while and then enjoy adventure activities near resort premises.

Post lunch head for a trek to Surkunda Devi which is located at a height of 10000ft. You will pass through the dense forest trails of Oak trees and Rhododendron flowers and feel nature more closely. After completing the trek and visiting the temple return back to the campsite and have a good time with newly made friends at bonfire &  DJ night party followed by Dinner.

Day 2 :Today after Break fast leave for Water Sports at Tehri and then start our journey back to Noida (330KM)

Post early breakfast start your journey to Tehri Dam for adventure water sports activities. Here you will have almost 14 varieties of water adventure sports activities. These activities give you a very good high and as trainers are experienced so if you have a fear of water they let you overcome it and helps you to discover the new you. After finishing the water sports activities we shall begin our return journey and shall stop Enroute for lunch and proceed back to Noida.
